This one's short. A thanks, a correction, and a chance to join in appreciating our teachers!
1) Appreciation time! It's almost time for Highland View to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. We'll be celebrating the week of May 8-12. We can use your help! Check out the sign up page here and see how you can hit a home run for our teachers!
2) A thanks. Speaking of appreciation: Thanks to everyone who bought garden and yard stuff during the Greendale Education Foundation Mulch Madness event on Saturday. Despite the weather it was a big success, and will definitely help provide grants and scholarships to Greendale students, schools, and staff.
3) A correction. The May Panther Paws fitness form will be sent out to students on Monday. Remember, fill in a pawprint for every 30 minutes of exercise or every 3 servings of fruits or vegetables your student gets, and when you fill all the paws in turn it back in to school. At the end of the month every student who turns their sheet in gets a prize, and if the school collects 300 turned in sheets, then everyone gets a prize on Olympic day!
