Hello Highland View Families!

What a great meeting tonight.  We did kind of move quickly through everything in order to be done before the School Board meeting started, so if you had something you wanted to bring up, or if you remembered something that you wanted to ask about, always feel free to email me and I'll get right on it!

Following up from the meeting, here are the important links and reminders:

1)  Thanks to Erin N. for arranging our Crossing Guard Appreciation Week plans for next week, and thanks to everyone that was willing to help deliver each day's thank-you's to the various crossing guards.  If you volunteered at the meeting to help distribute the gifts, I'm forwarding your contact information to Erin tonight.  If you weren't at the meeting but would like to also help distribute the gifts to the crossing guards, email me and I'll get your information to Erin too!

2)  Neon Dance Night is coming along great!  I'm so excited!  It's a big event and help is always needed.  Sign up here to be a part!

3)  Read Me a Story Night is scheduled for February 10th.  (NOT February 24th like it says on our school calendars!)  So lock that date away--it'll be here sooner than you expect!

4)  If you have 3-4 minutes, take some time and complete the Park and Recreation Survey that's active right now.  It's a great way to make sure the offerings keep being the best ones possible for you and your family.   The link is right here.

5)  Finally, the Greendale Education Foundation's primary fundraiser for the year is coming up.  it's a Food and Wine tasting/pairing event on February 24th (which you now have free since Read Me a Story Night moved!) You can buy tickets here.  The Education Foundation supports our school, staff, and students a ton at Highland View, and this is a really fun way to support them back.  I hope to see you there!

As usual, thanks for reading this far.  Keep warm and keep cool!
