February 9th Reminders and Updates

OK, there's a lot to remember this week, but I promise I can keep it brief:

1)  Don't forget the PTO meeting tonight (Monday 2/9, 6:00 PM in the Highland View Library).  The agenda is posted below.  After the PTO business is concluded the candidates for Greendale School Board will be on hand to answer questions and meet you in person.  The future direction of our School District will be in two of their hands soon!

2)  Yearbook order forms are due by Friday, February 13th.  If you have some pictures that you think would go well in the yearbook, email them to mmermal@gmail.com .

3)  The Great America "Read to Succeed" forms are due by February 27th, so keep on reading for your student's free Great America ticket.

4)  The Black History Month Trivia Questions are being posted on the PTO website:  http://highlandviewptorg.blogspot.com/ so you can play along with your students.  Remember, if they turn in their answer along with their name and classroom teacher before school starts the next day they're entered to win one of two family passes to the Milwaukee Art Museum given out each and every day, Monday-Thursday, this month.

5)  And of course don't forget that this Friday evening is Read Me a Story Night at Highland View.  So wear your PJ's, listen to some of our teachers share their favorite bedtime stories, and enjoy cookies and milk before bed.

See you tonight!
