materials not covered in the school’s budget, and hosts many family-fun and community events.

Minutes (Approved Feb 9th, 2015)

10 individuals were in attendance.

Aleks Skibicki welcomed members and asked everyone to introduce themselves.

Added Approve Treasurer report to the Agenda

The minutes of December 08, 2014 were approved.

The treasurer’s report was approved.

New Business:

Crossing Guard Appreciation Week: 
     Brain stormed on appreciation gifts for the crossing guards.
     Monday- Gift bag containing hand and foot warmers
     Tuesday- Gift card for Broad Street Coffee
     Wednesday- Greendale Gear
     Thursday- Gift Card for the Village
     Friday- Handmade cards from the students

Neon Dance Night:
Ready to go, have many volunteers.  Looking for someone to go to SAMS Club to purchase 3 boxes of Fritos for the walking tacos cost is approximately $50.00. Aleks volunteered.  Healthy snacks being made by some of our classes are applesauce, cereal bracelets, trail mix, snowman popcorn cups.

Black History Month: 
Connie K., Mrs. Flater and Aleks will have a meeting with some teachers in regards to events for Black History Month,
A trivia game during morning announcements was suggested.  Fifteen questions will be provided by Mr. Comiskey and prizes will be awarded.


Old Business

Fun Run:
Highland View received $2,229 this year.
Step up Meeting will take place on 01/27/2015 @ 7:00 pm Greendale Health Department.  We will need more participation if this run is to continue.

RIF: 
Took place and went smoothly.  There were lots of volunteers and the kids loved it.

Winter Concert: 
We loved the piano playing by students during the break in between concerts. The district survey results will be published in the Greendale News Letter.

Stop Sign Letter:
Stop Signs would cost $1,500.00 per sign.
The letter was reviewed and a suggestion to add the 60th college(by college Park) to the letter and to change the word issue to request in the last sentence of the letter.

Principal’s Time:  
Last session of the Latin Dance will take place on 01/13/15.  Kids are doing amazing.

Preparing for the Band/Orchestra concert 01/13/15 at 6:30 pm. The 4K concert is also coming up on 02/04/15 at the High School.

Teachers are preparing the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students for the Badger exam.  This exam is not timed and the exam is taken on the computer.

Mrs. Flater will send a reminder to the teachers to submit nominees for the Bruce Poprocki volunteer award.

Announcements:
Next PTO Meeting will be in February 09, 2014.
